And So The Journey Begins...

This last March I contacted a local trainer and discussed my personal weight loss and fitness goals.  From the get go we were determined to make my story a success.  One of the ways we thought we could make us most successful was to give full disclosure to the public and share my journey.  This gives me a sense of accountability and gives me a venue to motivate and gain motivation from others.

I started my recent journey at 229 lbs.  Not a good look on a 5'5" frame.  I enrolled in Weight Watchers and signed up with Kevin at Flexible Fitness Solutions.  Kevin started by taking my initial weight and measurements and "before" pictures, which will be posted soon.  Then the workouts began!  Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday since then I've been getting my butt kicked by Kevin and I'm loving every minute of it.

At this point I am consistent in my training sessions with Kevin, but definitely need to step it up at home with Weight Watchers and my cardio routine.  Right now I'm down to 216, which is a good start, but it's only the beginning.  Stayed tuned for more to come!  Please follow along and leave comments of inspiraton, encouragement, health tips that you've found helpful or come here for motivation.  If you enjoy the blog, please tell your friends.
