I admit it, I am lazy when it comes to cooking myself a meal. I would willingly get back in my car and drive down the street to get fast food then to take the 2 minutes to steam veggies and have a sammie. McDonald's is my venue of choice. It isn't always the french fries, but I have been known to frequent there for oatmeal and coffee, or a grilled chicken salad and always a giant diet coke. After awhile I noticed that it was such a habit that I would be stopping there multiple times a week. It's got to be something in the food, all of it is soooo addicting! Not only is that a lot of ka-ching wasted, there is always lower calorie options at home! This kind of self sabotage had to stop, so as of today I have been McDonalds free for 1 week! I hope to keep it going because it only takes one trip back and I'm hooked again! My cupboards are like Ol' Mother Hubbards right now so I'll be heading to the store to stock up on good options and that should help.
The days are getting nicer and are flying by! Work has been crazy busy lately but I have managed to keep up with my training with Kevin. Just when I think the workouts are getting easier he kicks it up a notch and I'm dying again. I gotta say there is something about sweating it all out! I weigh in at weight watchers tomorrow and think I'll get a good number. Looking forward to my long weekend and spending a lot of time outside!
